Hachi: a dog's tale, is a 2009 American drama film directed by Lasse Hallström. It is an adaptation of the Japanese original film, which describes the life and true story of the Akita dog named Hachikō. Concerning the plot: During a class presentation about heroes and people that the children really admire, Ronnie decides to narrate the story of his grandfather(Parker Wilson) and his dog, Hachiko. There has always been a special bond between the two of them, which included Hachiko following Parker everyday to the train station, in order to go to his work. He would never leave him, and it was clear. But happens when the one leaving is the owner? Actually, Parker didn't leave, he died after a cardiac crisis.
